Our textiles are made from largely natural organic cotton and mulesing-free merino wool and are designed to accompany you for many years. Nevertheless, typical signs of wear and tear can occur with regular wear and washing - especially after a long period of use.

Please note:
After about 1-1.5 years of use, we generally assume natural wear and tear, not a production defect. Factors such as detergent, washing temperature, spin speed or drying methods have a decisive influence on texture, color and shape.

Visible changes can occur, especially with light colors, as we deliberately avoid aggressive chemical pre-treatments. Our shirts are therefore somewhat more sensitive, but this is also what makes them so unique and skin-friendly.

Our recommendation:
Wash your Merz b. Schwanen items at a maximum of 30 °C on a gentle cycle, use a mild detergent without bleach additives and avoid the dryer. This will keep your shirt in shape for a long time.
