When we talk about "loopwheeled" fabrics, it refers to the unique method of fabric production using original loopwheel weaving machines, which were built between 1890 and 1960. These machines craft exceptional fabrics, often without side seams, but this isn't always possible. Particularly with fabrics like piqué, or heavier 2- or 3-threads, which require a more specialized production process, we use a single loopwheeler. This means we must cut the fabric for different sizes, resulting in side seams. Nevertheless, the high quality and comfort of the loopwheeled fabric remain uncompromised.
We hope this insight into the production process adds clarity and highlights the craftsmanship behind each garment!
